Continuous education

Brussels Matters’ discussions aim to provide you with cutting-edge knowledge on a wide range of topics of interest to those working within the fields of EU, company and commercial law. We provide this in a variety of methods using senior-level EU and other regulatory officials who are experts in their subject areas.

By participating in our discussions, you will gain a deeper knowledge of the subject, have been exposed to up-to-date information on that subject and should acquire greater confidence in applying your knowledge to your field of practice.

In those European jurisdictions where lawyers are subject to continuous professional education requirements, Brussels Matters' discussions can qualify for certification purposes. For example, pending confirmation in England & Wales our discussions have been accredited for Continuous Practice Development credits by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

After each discussion, we are able to supply a certificate of attendance electronically to those participants who ask for such a proof of participation.

However and in the light of the divergent continuous professional education requirements imposed by individual Bar associations across the European Union, currently it is not feasible to obtain certification approval in advance of our discussions and that will satisfy all these jurisdictions' requirements.
