About Brussels Matters
Brussels Matters hosts regular discussions during which participants hear from and discuss with senior EU officials important EU legal and policy developments in a wide range of areas, including competition (antitrust) law, corporate law, environmental law, employment and internal market laws.
Participants can join in the discussion either by attending in-person (in Brussels) or by teleconference from their chosen location.
In short, Brussels Matters’ discussions allow participants to be part of the Brussels’ EU law community, wherever they are located.

Conor Maguire is the managing director of Brussels Matters Limited and qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1995. Conor has practised EU law in Brussels and London for nearly 20 years. He is the immediate past chairman of the Law Society’s European Group, Brussels and previous Co-Chair of the International Antitrust Law Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of International Law.
